Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Marquis by Waterford Polka Dot Wine CoolerCustomer Review: Keeps that Riesling cool and adds zing to the table or sideboard Summary: 5 StarsI like the polka dot pattern on this Waterford piece a lot. While inspired by deco, I think it has an elegant modernity to it. The cooler, which stands 9" tall, is spun from stainless steel and contains a void similar to a thermos which I suppose acts as an insulator. The body has a brushed finish and the polka dots and rolled over lip have a polished finish. We used it at a holiday dinner, packed with ice and it performed admirably keeping the wine chilled over a period of hours.
Description of Marquis by Waterford Polka Dot Wine CoolerA perfect match to the Marquis collection this stainless steel piece is a greast addition to any barware statement. The Stainless Steel Wine Cooler has the imprint of dots randomly distributed around the piece. The cylinder shape holds a variety of wine bottles. This cooler is a great piece to use tableside at a dinner party or while at home just relaxing with a bottle of wine. The Cooler is also has a double wall of insulation to ensure the Polka Dot Wine Cooler does not sweat. The wine cooler is also 9" high and has an opening of 4 inches wide. The Vintage collection from Marquis by Waterford celebrates the look of earlier eras with a modern sensibility. Those who like cool sophistication will dig Vintage stainless-steel barware and crystal stemware, including this wine cooler crafted of premium stainless steel that juxtaposes polished and satin finishes. Eye-catching concave polka dots add a party-time touch to the cooler, which stands 9 inches tall with a 4-1/4-inch inner diameter. Both the dots and the cooler's wide collar are brightly polished, while the body is satin-finished. The inside is brushed to hide scratches from wine bottles. Matching barware from Waterford Marquis is also available in the polka dot pattern. For best results, stainless-steel ware should be washed by hand in hot, soapy water, then dried with a soft cloth. Scouring pads and abrasive cleansers should be avoided in order to maintain the stainless finish. --Ann Bieri
